1) Blog More — well I am already off to a terrible start on this one. I blame it on Los Angeles — I’ve been home with my family for the last 3 weeks and it has been way too much fun and sunshine for me to sit at home and blog!! But the good news is, I have a ton to share. So stay tuned!
2) Give up meat for Lent (22 February – 7 April) — this one I am doing much better on. You might be thinking, that’s because it isn’t Lent yet. But, as a sign of true commitment, and knowing my greatest weakness is cow, I have given up beef as of January 1st! I can eat some serious steaks and cheeseburgers, so I am already feeling the pain. But you will be proud to know that I walked passed a Five Guys on my way home this evening, after having just a banana and some Delta Air Biscotti, and did not go in! I came home and had veggie fried rice… One day at a time. I know it’s going to be even harder come 22 February when I have to give up my feathered and scaled friends, but I will keep the course!
